American Watercolor Society 151st Annual Exhibition
Lower Gallery, April 09, 2018 - April 28, 2018

The American Watercolor Society is one of the oldest and most prestigious art
societies in the world. Their 151st Annual International Exhibition opens for viewing on Monday, April 9th and runs through Saturday, April 28th. Gallery hours are 1-5pm daily.  
The AWS Exhibition is one of the premiere watercolor exhibits in the world.  More than 1,200 artists from throughout the United States and 27 foreign countries submit their work to a panel of jurors chosen from Signature Members of the AWS.  From these submissions (one per artist), the exhibition paintings are selected.  Paintings from the show will also be selected for the Traveling Exhibition, which will tour museums and galleries across the country during the next year.  
AWS hosts watercolor demonstrations on the following dates:
Wednesday, April 18, 6PM: Joel Popadics
Wednesday, April 25, 6PM: Andy Evansen
