BUY ART NOT KIDS

On Monday, October 22, 2012, from 6pm-9pm, The Salmagundi Club is hosting a fundraising/awareness- raising  art auction event for ECPAT-USA.  The silent auction features works from renowned artists Pieter Hugo, Yoshiaki Mochizuki, Joel Shapiro and many others. ECPAT-USA is a New York City based non profit organization that believes that children everywhere are have the right to live free from commercial sexual exploitation, including prostitution, pornography, and trafficking. We seek to end the exploitation of children by raising awareness, advocating for the victims, developing policies for the public and private sectors, and passing legislation that protects the victims and penalizes the traffickers and exploiters.  We belong to the ECPAT international network, with offices in 73 countries.
