Charles R. Knight: The Artist Who Saw Through Time
Salon, June 10, 2012

Richard Milner Lecture & Book Signing. Sunday, 2:00pm. Open to the public. Admission to the lecture is free.

Richard Milner of the American Museum of Natural History has authored an acclaimed new biography of Charles R. Knight (1874-1953) - the famed paleoartist and muralist who "invented" our visions of dinosaurs, mammoths, and cave men.

Milner¹s dazzlingly illustrated talk takes us back to the early days of the Museum and the Bronx Zoo. Rhoda Knight Kalt, the artist's granddaughter, will share reminiscences and sign their newly published book, "Charles R. Knight: The Artist Who Saw Through Time" (Abrams). Copies of the book will be available for sale at a cost of $40.
