Join us for a fine drawing exhibition that includes Historic and Contemporary artists. Works are in Charcoal, Graphite, Sepia, Ink and Ink Washes, combined to create a stunning new exhibition containing fine artworks for your art collection. All artwork is for sale.

Both the historic and contemporary works in Lines in Motion are available for purchase, and 100% of the proceeds go to the artists. All drawings are priced to sell from $700 to $4000.

Alex Katlan organized this show around a simple premise: to show historic works from his private collection alongside contemporary works created in a similar spirit and style. "The historic 19th century drawings and the contemporary drawings in this exhibition trace a continuous line of natural observation from the past to the present,” Katlan says. “Interestingly, what the artist decided to omit in transferring their observations to paper is often as important as what is actually drawn on paper. Although one might assume that a representational drawing or painting is an exact replication of reality, in fact it is an interpretation of reality filtered through the artist's observations, just as the viewer ultimately interprets what is represented.”
