Attendees will have a rare opportunity to listen to Master Signature artist Everett Raymond Kinstler as he discusses his prolific life as an artist with OPA President and Signature Member Ken Cadwallader.   Hear how his art career began and the road he has traveled on his way to becoming one of America’s most preeminent and beloved artists.

For over sixty years, Mr. Kinstler has portrayed a virtual cultural history of this country.

Among those who posed for him include presidents: Richard Nixon, Gerald R. Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush;  Authors Ayn Rand, Tennessee Williams, Tom Wolfe. Artists Alexander Calder, Salvador Dali, Norman Rockwell; Supreme Court Justices Harry Blackmun and Ruth Bader Ginsburg; Business leaders John D. Rockefeller lll,  Donald Trump, Sumner Redstone.  Others include Tony Bennett, Carol Burnett, James Cagney, Placido Domingo, Katharine Hepburn, Paul Newman, Gregory Peck, Christopher Plummer, and John Wayne.

He was awarded honorary degrees by Rollins College, Lyme Academy College and the San Francisco College of Art.   His memberships include the National Academy, American Watercolor Society, Audubon Artists, Allied Artists of America, Copley Society, National Arts Club, Century Club, Oil Painters of America, and the Salmagundi Club.

He is represented in museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Butler Museum of American Art, Brooklyn Museum, Museum of the City of New York, Brooklyn Museum, and the Norman Rockwell Museum.

The National Portrait Gallery and the Smithsonian Institute owns over 100 Kinstler originals. In 1989 they awarded him the Copley Medal, its highest honor.

His life has also been the subject of multiple documentaries.
