Since 1934 the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has given it’s nod to the best original song written for a motion picture. Packed with music, nostalgia and anecdotes about the singers, actors and composers, “The Academy Awards show” is guaranteed to please.

Material from the 1930’s to the 1980’s includes such classics as The Continental, Lullabye of Broadway, The Way You Look Tonight, They Can’t Take That Away From Me, Over the Rainbow, Love is a Many Spendored Thing, Swingin’ on a Star, All the Way, Que Sera Sera, Moon River, The Shadow of Your Smile, The Way We Were and Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head.

From Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, the Gershwins and Dorothy Fields to Harry Warren, Harold Arlen, Johnny Mercer and Jimmy Van Heusen, Burt Bacharach and Hal David, Marvin Hamlisch and Henry
Mancini, Mitch Kahn explores and celebrates the legacy of the great American Songwriters. The Academy Awards Show consistently garners accolades.
