Raffle of Frank Mason Painting @ SCNY Silent Auction

One of the highlights of this year's Silent Auction Fundraiser was the raffle of an original painting by Frank Mason (1921-2009).  91 tickets were sold. Drawing of the winning ticket took place among the many attendees of the event which occurred in the Club's main gallery at 8:30 PM Friday night Sept. 23rd, 2016.

The holder of the winning ticket was Howard Stevens of Long Island City, New York.

Salmagundi thanks the many volunteers and participants that made the evening a success!!


"Storing Hay, Pownal, Vermont" measures 25" high by 30" wide and is in a gold metal leaf Florentine style Frame. Painting is signed. It was done by Frank Mason in 1959. Appraised value of painting is $15K.   The was donated from the late artist's estate and is mounted in a 3.5 inch gold metal leaf Florentine style frame.
