In Conjunction with the SCNY Building Centennial Celebration, Fine Art Connoisseur editor-in-chief Peter Trippi will moderate a lively conversation exploring how the club’s survival in Greenwich Village fits into the fascinating ebb and flow of lower Manhattan’s creative communities.

The panelists are:
-Annette Blaugrund, former director of the National Academy Museum and organizer of a groundbreaking exhibition on the Village’s Tenth Street Studio Building

-Melissa Rachleff Burtt, the New York University professor who curated the recent exhibition Inventing Downtown: Artist-Run Galleries in New York City 1952–1965

-Hal Bromm, the Tribeca-based art dealer and former president of the Historic Districts Council

-Anna Sui, the renowned fashion designer who has lived in Greenwich Village since the early 1980s.
