SCNY Mystery Book Club Presents a Performance by the Viking Theater Company
Lower Gallery, November 10, 2014

Originally broadcast on April 10, 1948 as part of "The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" radio series, this story was suggested by an incident in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s “The Golden Pince Nez”.

“The Adventure of the Tolling Bell” takes place in the beautiful English countryside where the famous Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are taking a brief vacation before they return to their arduous work at Baker Street.

There will be a discussion of both the performance as well as the actual story following the event.
