Gregg Kreutz 2-Day Workshop
Lower Gallery, December 13, 2014 - December 14, 2014
SCNY presents a 2-day workshop with Painter Gregg Kreutz
Sat. & Sun., December 13-14, 10-5PM, $320.
This 2-day class will focus on the art of picture making; how a person, a view, and/or a collection of things can be turned into a unified whole. Through demonstrations and one-on-one instruction, different strategies will be explored to turn the seemingly random into a harmonious unit. The class will work with models posed at the SCNY pool tables.
An award winning painter and author of the classic artist’s guide; Problem Solving for Oil Painters , Gregg Kreutz has been drawing and painting all his life. After graduating from N.Y.U., he pursued his training as a painter in earnest at the Art Student’s League of New York winning a merit scholarship. He studied with Frank Mason, Robert Beverly Hale, and, most significantly, David A. Leffel.
