Members and guests filled the Club Library one evening in June to hear artist and teacher Daniel Hauben discuss his technique for rendering deep textures and semi-sculptural effects in oil painting, as evidenced in several of his works on display. Mr. Hauben has created designs for rome of the stained glass artwork in New York’s elevated subway stations and has exhibited widely in Europe, especially Germany and Austria. This summer he will have a two-month solo exhibition in Regensburg, Bavaria.
