American Scenes:
From New Amsterdam to Old Amsterdam
Lower Gallery, January 23 - February 10
Viewing Hours: 1-6pm Mon.-Fri., 1-5pm Sat. & Sun.

This exhibition—the first-ever exhange of works between Salmagundi and Arti et Amicitiae—is truly a landmark event in the 105-year reciprocal relationship shared by our organizations. Having opened in Amsterdam this past October, the exhibition has returned to New York and can be seen at the Salmagundi Club until Friday, February 10. In addition to its being the first exchange exhibition between our two organizations it also established a number of historic “firsts” for the Club: It was the first to be fully funded through member contributions and also the first Salmagundi show to have its own fully illustrated, 24-page, full-color catalog. Works by nationally known artists such as Douglas Allen, Don Demers, Josh Elliott, Andrew Lattimore, Joe Paquet, Morgan Samuel Price and John Traynor are included.

Catalogs are available for $12.50 each (shipping included) or $10 if picked up at the Club. All revenues generated will be used to fund future traveling exhibitions. Please indicate the number of catalogs you wish and send check made payable to Salmagundi Club to:
