David Reinfeld

Born in New York City, David Reinfeld's interest in photography started as a teenager, taking pictures on the streets of New York, documenting the social events of the time. In the late '60-s, David taught photography to inner city children, and in the early '70-s, he received his MFA Photography at the Rhode Island School of Design. He photographed abstractions everywhere-from the decayed walls and graffiti in the inner cities, to the rocks in the canyons of the Southwest. David became interested in composite photography from the onset of digital photography, compositing his traditional images into a new form of self-expression. Today, David is more of a hybrid artist, making images wherever he goes, and following whatever feels important.
