Joseph Camardo Joseph Camardo

Joseph S. Camardo, MD graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1979. He studied neuroscience research at Columbia University then practiced general medicine in Philadelphia. He is now Senior Vice President at Celgene Corporation, responsible for development of new drugs for neglected tropical diseases. Dr. Camardo is a member of the Board of MaliHealth, supporting their healthcare activities for mothers and children in Bamako, Mali; he is a Fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, a member of the Institute for Ethical Leadership and Social Responsibility at Rosemont College, and board member of Anyone Can Fly, an arts foundation that seeks to promote the history and present of African American Art. He to plays jazz piano as one of the founding musicians of The Jazz Doctors. Linda and Joe Camardo live at The Brevoort, and our daughter and her husband live in this neighborhood.
