Penny Billings

Award-winning artist Penny Billings works in a style of contemporary realism influenced by the 19th century American Tonalist movement. Her landscape oil paintings have been recognized nationally and internationally in juried competition, including exhibition at New York's National Arts Club & Salmagundi Club, and at Boston's Copley Society of Art, Boston International Fine Art Show, and Massachusetts State House.

Billings's work won the highest award for oil painting in the American Artists Professional League's 85th Grand National Exhibition in 2013. Her paintings have won national awards from Audubon Artists, the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club and the Academic Artists Association, and were international finalists in The Artist's Magazine's Annual Art Competition, and the Art Renewal Center's Salon International. Her work has also been juried into the competitions of Allied Artists of America, American Impressionist Society and Salmagundi Club.
